Portability and ease of use

The XL-80 laser and XC-80 compensator are compact in size, which means a complete linear measurement system only needs to be packed in a "portable case" and weighs only 12 kilograms. Adding a tripod (packed in a nylon zipper carrying case) gives you a truly portable machine measurement solution. Both laser interferometers and compensators can be connected to computers via USB, so there is no need for separate interfaces or complex settings.

Accuracy and dynamic performance

The precise and stable laser source and accurate environmental compensation ensure a linear measurement accuracy of ± 0.5ppm. It can read data at a frequency of up to 50kHz, with a maximum linear measurement speed of 4m/s. Even at the highest speed, the linear resolution can still reach 1nm. All measurement options (not just linear) are measured using interferometry, giving you confidence in the accuracy of the recorded data.
